Miranda Cosgrove was born in Los Angeles, California. She started out with TV commercials and modeling. In 2003, she caught a break, landing the role of band manager Summer Hathaway in School of Rock with Jack Black. Miranda then got the part of sister and troublemaker Megan Parker in Drake & Josh. She returned to the big screen in 2005 with Yours, Mine and Ours. Miranda now stars in her own TV show, as Carly on iCarly. Miranda sings the theme song for iCarly, 'Leave it All to Me', which features Drake Bell. She also performs songs on the iCarly soundtrack. Her single 'Raining Sunshine' is featured in the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Miranda released her solo album 'Sparks Fly' in April 2010.
