Lee DeWyze was born in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Before American Idol, Lee had a solo career and formed the Lee DeWyze Band. Lee also released two independent albums called So I'm Told in 2007 and Slumberland in 2010. Lee's first album since winning 'American Idol' is titled 'Live It Up' and was released on Nov. 16.
