Country Idol
Kellie Pickler was born in Albemarle, North Carolina. When she was 19-years-old, Kellie auditioned for Season 5 of Fox's American Idol. One of the judge's favorites, she made it all the way to 6th place. Once she was eliminated, Kellie headed to Nashville to pursue a career as a country music singer. In 2006, she released her debut album, Small Town Girl, which includes chart-topping songs 'Red High Heels' and 'I Wonder'. Her second album, the self-titled Kellie Pickler, was released in 2008. The album includes the singles 'Don't You Know You're Beautiful' and 'Best Days of Your Life' which features Taylor Swift and is Kellie's first Top 10 hit on the Hot Country Songs chart.
