Shooting Sparks
Jordin Sparks was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Jordin auditioned for American Idol and won the competition when she was 17 years old, making her the first teen to win. In November of 2007, Jordin released her self-titled debut album, Jordin Sparks, which launched three Top 10 pop singles: 'Tattoo', 'No Air' and 'One Step at a Time'. 'No Air' is a duet with Chris Brown, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award. In July of 2009, Jordin released Battlefield, her second album. The first single, also called 'Battlefield', peaked in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
