Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas. She got started in acting at age 6, playing Angela on the TV show Barney & Friends. In her breakthrough role, Demi starred as Mitchie, a girl who dreams of becoming a singer, in the Disney Channel original movie, Camp Rock. She launched her singing career in 2008 with her first album, Don't Forget, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. In the 2009 Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program, Demi co-stars as Princess Rosalinda alongside her real life best friend Selena Gomez. She currently stars in the Disney Channel show, Sonny With A Chance, as Sonny Munroe. Her second album, Here We Go Again, came out in July of 2009 and debuted on the Billboard 200 at #1.
