2002: Littlest Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears originally gained notoriety as the little sister of Britney Spears. This outfit really told us that she was still learning to come into her own. Her makeup was very dark and adult-like, yet her outfit was youthful and not even matching. We aren't sure what possessed her to wear those shoes with that outfit. But Jamie Lynn showed she had a lot to learn about style here.

2003: Suited Sister

The last picture showed Jamie Lynn's immaturity in style and this one showed too MUCH maturity. Not only does a suit like this look terrible on young girls, but it doesn't even seem to fit her correctly and was swimming on her. The hint of the shocking pink, butterfly tank left us hope that Jamie Lynn was in there trying to bring out her own style.

2003: Sneaking Around

This outfit was probably one of Jamie Lynn's best in terms of her age and personal sense of style. It was cute and playful and really showed off Jamie Lynn's petite frame. We aren't quite sure what was up with the shoes though, they look terrible and even huge with her little body.

2005: Stand Tall

Fashion isn't only about what you wear, it's about how you wear it. We've learned, from previous photos, that Jamie Lynn doesn't have the best posture. This outfit would have been perfect had it not looked like it was hanging on her like a hanger. Come on girl, learn to stand tall and proud in your clothes.

2005: Just Jamie!

This outfit was one of our faves! From the adorable style to the way she stood tall and proud in it, it was perfect. Look at how proud Jamie Lynn looks in this outfit and her tall posture showed she was comfortable with the style, too. Each element of this outfit was perfectly tuned to the casual way that Jamie Lynn likes her clothes.

2005: Lookin' Good

Her posture started to slide back to old ways in this shot, but the outfit was adorable nonetheless. We also can sort of ignore the bad posture since the outfit is very beachy and aloof. We loved the cute sandals with the loose shorts and shirt. We have to admit we're relieved to see Jamie Lynn's conservative approach to fashion, considering her big sis doesn't leave much to the imagination.

2006: Sweetheart Spears

Jamie Lynn definitely came into her own around this time. Look how adorable she looked in this white dress with blue, high-waisted belt. Her tan skin and golden hair shined brightly against the light color and her tiny body looked great.

2006: Learning Curve

Check out how Jamie Lynn learned to pair cute tanks with denim to create the perfect trendy teen look. She looked GREAT in this bright tank. And her jeans were a great fit on her and really made her legs look longer.

2007: Orange Crush

This 2007 Kids' Choice Awards outfit was truly a heart or hate, we HEARTed it! Jamie Lynn looked AMAZING in that bright, orange color in a dress that fit her body type perfectly. We were even more amazed at how the color actually made her hair and skin look golden and glowing.

2007: Sassy Spears

For someone who was once only known as Britney's lil' sis, Jamie-Lynn sure has come a long way. With her hit show, 'Zoey 101' and great style sense emerging, we know we haven't seen the last of her. We LOVED this adorable dress on Jamie Lynn The bright colors were perfect for spring and the cute pockets and A-line skirt were just adorable!
