This photo was snapped at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie, 'Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius' in 2001. Hilary Duff's baby face makes her look a lot younger than she is. Her golden locks and sweet smile are just too cute for words.
2002: Fashion Risk
Hilary's silly and creative personality really started to show at Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards where she wore low rise jeans, a colorful Asian-inspired shirt and chopsticks through her ponytail.
2002: Purple Power
At this point, Hilary was starting to mature into not only a beautiful young woman, but also a trendsetter. Her hair was darker and her make-up was bolder. We love her taste in clothing and the chances she takes.
2003: Full Deck
At the press conference for 'Agent Cody Banks,' Hilary's bouncy hair and classic red lips caught everyone's attention. She looked so fresh with her bright eyes and rosy cheeks.
2003: Pretty in Pink
Her pink cheeks, mauve lips and her trendy, adorable outfit really represents her youthfulness and TV character, Lizzie McGuire.
2003: Rock On
Life changed for Hilary after her first pop album, 'Metamorphosis,' came out in August 2003. Like her CD's title, Hilary truly did go through a fashion metamorphosis. Her look moved from cute to edgy over the course of a couple of months.
2003: Sterling Standout
Here, we are starting to get a glimpse of a more mature Hilary. This red carpet outfit is unique and youthful, with an air of sophistication. The polka dots remind us that she's still a teenager, while the skirt and heels scream young woman.
2004: Hue Views
At age 17, Hilary went back to a golden-blond hair color and continued to wear dark eyeliner. We love that she wears light gloss with dark eyes. Her look has changed from cute, all-American girl to edgy, confident teen.
2004: Baby, It's Cold
Even when she's functional she's funky. Hilary maintains her style despite the frigid temperature. We really like the fur-topped, wedge boots and comfy sweater.
2005: Vision in White
Wow! This stunning, white dress falls on her figure perfectly. It's not revealing, nor is it too conservative. We love watching Hilary blossom into a beautiful, young woman.
2005: All Grown Up
We love that Hilary doesn't flash a lot of skin. This great red carpet outfit has the illusion of sheerness. She is totally covered up and looks classy and sophisticated. The flapper girl fringe and old-school hair style really add a little flair to the outfit and remind us that this girl loves to play around with fashion.
2005: Duff's Stuff
Hilary typically chooses soft, light colors, but for this event she went dark and drab and it really looks strange on her. Also, we don't think the halter top fits her very well.
2006: Double Take
This CAN'T be the same girl!! Now this is a dramatic look. We really like the darker hair with her skin tone and that black-and-cream, strapless dress is to-die-for.
