Stages of Stardom: Corbin Bleu

Corbin Bleu might share the spotlight with his 'HSM' co-stars, but his style is all his own. The proof is in the pictures.

2004: Little Boy Bleu

Corbin Bleu got his start like his cast mates did, playing small guest roles on TV shows. His first appearance was as a little boy on a popular medical drama at the age of seven! This pic of Corbin reminds us how young he is, it was taken when he was just 15. And his pure white outfit was definitely youthful. We cringed at the thought of it getting dirty though.

2005: Party Play

For his 'HSM' costar, Ashley Tisdale's birthday party, Corbin looked nothing but dapper. His white shirt with a ribbon detail was perfect. And his black slacks and dressy shoes were great finishing touches.

2006: Suit Up

Corbin Bleu's style so far has been pretty hit or miss. We like him in dress shirts and slacks but this sport jacket and tie look was a bit much. The color of his shirt was a bit bold, though we wouldn't have minded it without the tie or jacket attached. This outfit looked like something his, or anyone's, dad might wear not a young 16-year-old boy.

2006: Pleasing Penguin

Our mouths dropped a little on this one. Corbin looked EXCELLENT in that black, slick tuxedo. He was at the Emmy's so his attire was completely appropriate and we were pleased that he went without a tie and left the top button open a bit. It would appear that Corbin has a clue of how to dress for an event and still look age appropriate!

2006: Cuffed and Coifed

This outfit was a complete flip from the last one, but being that he was at the Teen Choice Awards we wouldn't have expected him to be dressed up. We actually really liked this laid-back style on Mr. Bleu. His hair was a bit unruly and we didn't love the cuffs on the pants, but overall he looked fun and fresh.

2006: Bare Bones

It would appear that Corbin Bleu lost all fashion sense when he put this outfit on. The skull on his shirt creeped us out and black striped blazer with leather pants was just plain weird. We appreciate a nod to darker style, but this was a bit too extreme for our liking and looked odd on Corbin.

2006: Losing It

What were we saying about Corbin having good fashion sense? Because for the last two shots we've lost all faith in him. His henley shirt wouldn't be so bad, and even the whiskered denim would be OK ... IF he weren't wearing that jacket. Seriously! What is that thing? The weird fur trim, the red piping, the shoulder patches, we're at a loss for words on it.

2007: Gaining Ground

Phew, just when we were starting to worry about Corbin Bleu, he regained some style points. His vest with long-sleeved, gray shirt was a great match. We, personally, would have paired a darker rinse denim and different shoes, but hey we can't win them all.

2007: Spreading Wings

You might think we wouldn't like this look, but we actually really did like it. On Corbin it looked casual and stylish and his jeans were a perfect choice. We were most pleased to see that he was starting to really individualize his style and make choices that suited him and the events he was attending.

2007: Capping It Off

We were more then pleased with this red carpet look for Corbin Bleu. The double layered shirt look was GREAT on him and his jeans and sneakers set a casual cool vibe. We can't help but notice that Corbin and Zac Efron share similar taste in fashion ... this isn't a bad thing!
