2002: Go Longhorns!

For coming from a little town in Texas, Kelly sure did adapt to the life of a star quickly. We noticed early on that Kelly wore a lot of jeans and colorful tops, but kept her look very casual and simple.

2003: Party Wear

When you are a big celebrity like Kelly Clarkson you get to attend some pretty cool parties, like this pre-GRAMMY party. Kelly wore a very sophisticated little, black dress. Kelly really started to feel comfortable in her skin and at ease with being such a huge star.

2003: Getting Edgy

Kelly really started to grow as an artist in 2003 and we also saw a change in her look. She cut her locks to shoulder length, added some blonde highlights and played up her natural curls. Her clothing also started to lean more edgy. Kelly was starting to make her mark on the world.

2004: Long Locks

Kelly's debut full-length CD 'Thankful' was released in spring of 2003, coinciding with the second season of 'American Idol' and right before the movie, 'From Justin to Kelly.' Kelly's hair extensions cascade down the front of her beautiful, black dress.

2004: Walk Away

Her CD 'Breakaway' was rockin' the charts and she decided to bring back the '50s look in a polka-dotted dress, pearls and updo.

2004: Curvy Cutie

We are HUGE fans of Kelly's curvy bod, which she exposed to the world in this brown, tight-fitting dress. With the release of 'Breakaway' we saw Kelly really find her place and become more and more confident.

2004: Lady in Red

It takes a lot to pull off a bright red dress, but Kelly did it with ease at The American Music Awards. We loved the corset-style top of the dress and the elegant train. Kelly radiated confidence, power, success and sophistication.

2005: Red Carpet Pro

At the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, Kelly wore a one-shoulder, gold gown with a train. We absolutely adore this picture of Kelly because she looks happy and glowing!

2006: Rock Star

She may be all glamorous and elegant on the red carpet, but Kelly's music videos and concert looks are getting more and more edgy and we LOVE it. In her video, 'Walk Away,' she sported her signature nose ring, Mohawk hairstyle and a cool finger ring.

2006: Ruffles

We love this pleated, strapless, black gown that she wore to the 2006 Music Awards. She looks like a true Hollywood celebrity, but we all know she's still that sweet, down-to-earth girl from Texas.

2006: Scarlet Singer

This vibrant dress is a wowie! We're so happy to see Kelly develop her own look and with her incredible voice, the world of music is hers for the taking. We will be watching our 'Idol,' hopefully for years and years to come.
