This trend is right up my alley. I was PSYCHED to see cute, super-short, babydoll dresses make an appearance as a trend. But you won't catch me with my butt hanging out! I like to pair them with jeans or pants in general. There is nothing uglier then a dress, or any outfit, that let's all your skin hang out. Use some discretion and cover up and do it in style with this great idea.

I will admit that I HATED this trend back around 2001 when it first popped up. But now I can't get enough of it. Babydoll dresses, tight dresses, mini-dresses all look GREAT over jeans. The key is in the length of the dress. The dress shouldn't be longer then your knees and the jeans can be cropped or full length, it depends on the look you're going for.

I think that's my fave part about this trend is how versatile it is. It's appropriate for school, hanging out and even going out with the 'rents if that's what you have to do. And best of all, your parents will be thrilled to see how "covered up" you are, and you'll still feel super cute.
