Bucking the Trend
Well she did it, Jordin Sparks won us over. Our favorite trend right now is dresses over jeans and there she was for the whole world wearing it last night. We loved her fun, strapless dress and the lace trim that hung out the bottom paired with boot-cut jeans.

Casual Chic
Melinda Doolittle looked great in her black top and dark-rinse denim. She was well put-together and looked perfectly chic! We were most impressed with her accessories though as the bracelets and boots truly capped the outfit off.
A Passion for Fashion
Blake Lewis, we have to admit we can't say it this week, we don't HEART you. The dark hair which has now gone skunk-ish with white streaks is just not growing on us ... that doesn't mean we wish you off the show though, your cool asian-style jacket was funky and the pink shoes were a fashion risk that we admired.
Going Trendy
We liked Lakisha Jones' trendy style, the problem was it wasn't very flattering on her. The fit of the tunic over the leggings made her look bigger then she is, unlike her usually slimming dresses. We gave her props for being stylish though!
Sea of Blue
Jordin Sparks' second performance outfit was very pretty and classy. We liked the floor-length blue gown and the fit was extremely flattering on her. Her performance wasn't great, but she gets tons of brownie points for her style.
Grey Day
This grey dress on Melinda Doolittle was neither loved, nor loathed. It was just there, it looked OK on her and wasn't unflattering, we just thought it was kind of boring. We loved her first outfit so much that we had hoped to see a little more from her. Oh well, no complaints isn't a bad thing!
Deja Vu
We SWEAR we'd seen this outfit before. It's very similar to this outfit worn by Blake Lewis on April 17. We like the simple argyle sweater though and appreciate that he only took one fashion risk that night.

Dress of Redemption
For everything we didn't like about her previous performance outfit, we loved this one on Lakisha Jones. The fit, the color, the length ... were all perfect! She looked classy and stylish and we were very impressed.
