IM Interview With Ashley Ferl
We got Ashley Ferl to sit down and take some time out of her busy schedule to answer questions about 'American Idol' and her experience on the show. Read what she had to say and then submit your questions for our next interview with her to
KOLYouAskIt@aol.com.

KOLYouAskIt: Hi, Ashley, are you ready to answer some questions for us today?
Ashley: Yeah!

KOLYouAskIt: Our first question is, everyone really just wants to know what it was like being on the show that night?
Ashley: It was amazing! It was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

KOLYouAskIt: And, what was it like being able to go up on the stage, you started at the dress rehearsal right?
Ashley: I just went to the dress rehearsal and I got so overwhelmed that I started crying. And all of a sudden they're calling me up there, and I couldn't believe what was happening. I was like, oh my gosh!

KOLYouAskIt: That's awesome! And did you get to hug everyone and say hi to everyone?
Ashley: Yeah, I didn't really get to say hi because I was crying. But I did hug everyone.

KOLYouAskIt: So, who were your favorites in the beginning and why?
Ashley: I liked, Melinda, Gina, Jordin and Sanjaya.

KOLYouAskIt: And, who is your favorite now of the remaining three?
Ashley: I like ... I like ALL of them!

KOLYouAskIt: You don't have a FAVORITE?
Ashley: I'm voting for all three of them!

KOLYouAskIt: What's the most number of votes you've voted for anyone? Do you know off the top of your head? Do you ever count them?
Ashley: I've lost count.

KOLYouAskIt: You've lost count?
Ashley: Yeah!

KOLYouAskIt: You've done that many?
Ashley: Yeah.

KOLYouAskIt: Have you been surprised by anyone who was voted off this year?
Ashley: I'm surprised every week. Because I keep wanting it to be a tie, you just never know.

KOLYouAskIt: Were you ever surprised in any past years by people who got sent home?
Ashley: Last year I was surprised that Chris (Daughtry) and Ace (Young) went home. Years before I was surprised about Constantine (Maroulis) and La Toya (London) ...

KOLYouAskIt: So, do you watch every year and who were some of your favorites from past years?
Ashley: Yeah, um of course I liked Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood ... last year I liked Ace (Young), Bucky (Covington), Kellie (Pickler), Lisa (Tucker) and Paris (Bennett).

KOLYouAskIt: Do you ever go to the 'American Idol' concerts?
Ashley: Me and my friend and my mom, we've gone to all the Top 10 tours since Season 3.

KOLYouAskIt: Wow, very cool! Do you ever get to make it backstage or to the meet and greets?
Ashley: No!

KOLYouAskIt: What did you think of last week's performances overall?
Ashley: Ummmm, I don't think they were their best performances. But, I liked them.

KOLYouAskIt: Did you have a favorite one?
Ashley: I think Jordin probably did the best.

KOLYouAskIt: The first performance she did?
Ashley: Yeah.

KOLYouAskIt: Has there been a favorite week that you've liked so far? Like, the Latin Week or Gwen Stefani's week?
Ashley: I liked the British Invasion week and the Gwen Stefani week.

KOLYouAskIt: And what has been your least favorite week?
Ashley: Ummmm ... probably this last week!

KOLYouAskIt: And our last question is, do you have a favorite performance from this year?
Ashley: Probably, Sanjaya singing 'You Really Got Me' or Melinda singing 'As Long As You Need Me.'

KOLYouAskIt: Ah, well thank you so much Ashley. We really appreciate you taking the time to speak with us! We'll catch up with you next week!
