TITLE: PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM DJ RICK
Dear Loyal Looney Listeners,
I am sure you've heard the expression: "All good things must come to an end"?
Well, in our case here at Radio KOL - it's more like - "all good things, from next Wednesday November 28th, 2007 will go on a long and random vacation".
After over four years of daily live shows Radio KOL will be taking a long and indefinite break.
It's going to be hard not doing the show for all of you for a while - a job that I love deeply and almost as much as you - the looney listeners! The reasons we won't be live are too complex to go into here but rest assured that myself and Producer Mark will be working as hard as we can to bring the show back to you sometime in the New Year.
In the meantime - I thank you all sooo very much for your incredible love and support of the show.

You can also catch me every Saturday morning on CBS in my new super-hero guise "Tako" on Sushi Pack ( www.sushipack.com ). Yum!
There are still more than a few live shows left to have some crazy fun with you all and over the next couple of days I will be sorting out a snail mail address for those of you who want to write to me :)
I'd like to thank all the characters past and present who have made Radio KOL possible - you know who you are! My two excellent Producers, Laura and now the wonderful Producer Mark - all the gang at KOL, RED and bosses past and present - a HUGE THANK YOU TO Mr. Miller, Bankoff, Bird! and not forgetting the amazing Stephie and Mrs Moen. And where would I be without all the crazy interns over the years? Nadiya, Spiffy, Michelley & Andrew (to name but a few).
Again, I am sorry if this is a bit of shock - it's not something that I ever thought would have to happen.
This is not goodbye because: as long as there are evil hamsters to defend you from, amazing guests to interview, brilliant music to play and wonderful gifts to giveaway - I will be there!
Thank you to ALL of you - all of my regular loonies and DJ's - I don't want to list you all - because you are ALL EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO ME.....Thank you, Radio KOL DJ's!!!
So, keep your fingers crossed for us - and thank you again to ALL of you for truly making Radio KOL the most amazing, incredible experience of my life.
