Leader of the League of Assassins, Ra's is skilled in many martial arts, but more than that he is best know for being immortal claiming to have walked the Earth for almost six hundred years by way of the Lazarus Pir. His mind has been infected from using the Pit too many times though, and he genuinely believes that the only way to save the world is to destroy all those that don't follow law and order. He and Batman butt heads on more than one occasion.
