Clearly Batman's greatest enemy has always been and will always be the Joker. A clown with a nasty habit of trying to prove that the whole world is just as crazy as he is and he plans on forcing Gotham to face up to this fact by terrorizing the city in as many ways as possible. The Joker is a madman and one of the most powerful characters from the comic books aside from Batman himself.
