Yorkshire Terriers
Also known as Yorkies, these hyper dogs require a lot of attention. We love their multi-colored fur and playful demeanor. Yorkies typically weigh around five to seven pounds.

Boston Terriers
Despite their appearance, these pointy-eared dogs are very friendly. While they were originally bred for fighting, they are now considered great companions. The modern Boston Terrier can be gentle, alert, expressive, and well-mannered.
Pugs
Have you ever noticed how Pugs are typically the dogs you see wearing costumes (See the Fabulous Pugs gallery)? Maybe it's because Pugs are very social and LOVE the attention. Pugs are clingy dogs, always at their owner's feet, in their lap, or following them from room to room.
Bichon Frise
These dogs are like little puff balls of fur. Surprisingly, these foo-foo Bichon Frises are a non-molting breed and are suitable for people with allergies. They are very intelligent and generally have happy personalities.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
This tiny dog is highly affectionate. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are known as the ultimate lap dog and the friendliest of the toy group.
Chihuahua
Chihuahuas are the smallest breed in the world and were named after the Chihuahua State in Mexico. Chihuahuas are known for their strong personalities. Chihuahuas also have a tendency to tremble when stressed or excited.
Chinese Crested Dog
There are two types of Chinese Cresteds; Hairless, which can sunburn very easily and Powderpuffs, which have long, flowing hair. Chinese Cresteds are affectionate, energetic and playful. They are known to be great family pets, and have endearing personalities. They are known to be great with respectful children. Some are known 'singers,' while others are known to 'smile.'
Italian Greyhounds
Italian Greyhounds, also known as I.G.s or Iggy for short, typically weigh seven to eleven pounds. They look like miniature Greyhounds. I.G.s like warm places, enjoy curling up with other dogs or humans or burrow into blankets and under cushions for warmth.
Maltese
Maltese are friendly dogs that do not shed. They are covered in long, silky, white hair. Maltese can weigh between three to 10 pounds. They are extremely energetic dogs and are highly intelligent. They pick up new tricks very easily.
Miniature Pinscher
Despite the name, mini pins aren't related to Doberman Pinschers. This breed is very loyal and will alert their owner to any changes within the home environment.
Papillon
The Papillon is a small dog breed with distinctive large, fringed ears that earned it its name, the French word for butterfly.
Pekingese
Pekingese are a breed of dog originating from China. The Pekingese is generally a one-person dog who expects to be respected and will not tolerate being treated otherwise.
Pomeranian
Pomeranians are fuzzy dogs which weigh between three to seven pounds. The Pomeranian is a very active dog who is intelligent, courageous, and a loyal companion. Beneath the Pomeranian's fur is a small but muscular dog, similar to a Chihuahua.
