Sweater Girl

Dogs in clothes seems kind of unnatural to us, but we're embarrassed to admit that we get a kick out of seeing pups in dresses ... and pearls ... and wigs, like this Jack Russell terrier that is wearing a beautiful, soft pink-and-white dress, one of this year's hottest frocks for fido.

More Dogs and Fashion

Snow Bunny

This cute dog is sporting a lovely, blue, thick vest; perfect for those cold days on the slope. Sure, we've never actually seen a dog skiing, but we've seen a skateboarding dog, so skiing canines might not be too far away, right?

Hobbit Couture

This dog could seriously be Frodo's (from the 'Lord of the Rings' movies) twin. The shaggy hair, pointy ears and the knit sweater SCREAM hobbit!

Leopard Leash

This pup's harness is tres chic! Similar to human fashion, leopard print is very 'in.'

Big Dog with Style

One of the most beautiful dresses flaunted down the runway was worn by this shaggy dog. The sparkly, copper evening gown proves that small dogs aren't the only dogs with style.

Fur Real?

One of the oddest things we saw during Pet Fashion Week was the use of fur in doggie clothes. Hello?!? Don't they already HAVE fur? This Chihuahua loves his leather jacket with fur trim.

Space Dog

This was seriously one of the smallest dogs we had ever seen! Not only was it about the size of a mouse, it was shaking like crazy (not to worry, shaking is normal for small dogs). This itty, bitty dog was wearing one of the craziest outfits of the night. It looked like a space suit.

In the Hood

Chinese Cresteds are known for their lack of fur (in some breeds), which is why this warm hoodie is so practical for a hairless dog.

Street Chic

Believe it or not, that's a real dog you see under that beret. We were doing double takes all night due to the many of the dogs' tiny sizes.

Just White

This meaty dog model was having some trouble walking down the runway, until his model escort picked her up and carried her down. This raven-haired beauty (and we're not talking about the human) looked fabulous in a white dress with black trim.

Gold Standard

Super Dog Groomer and Poodle breeder, Sathit Suratphiphit, showed off his creations at the tail end of the show. It was one of the most amazing parts of the evening, as the dogs were not wearing anything other than their headpieces and a few jewels. All of their fur was designed to look like clothing or costume. It was dyed, teased and curled. It was truly a work of art.

Crown Jewels

This is a close-up of a dog styled to look like a gold fish. Its gold crown was beautiful, but not as beautiful as its tail, which was shaped up to resemble a fish tail.

Born to Be Wild

This dog's wild side was brought out with dyed brown and green fur and a fake snake adorning its neck. A quick fact for you; Poodles are one of the smartest breeds, despite their 'foo foo' look.

Birds of a Feather

This Poodle was wearing a peacock-inspired look, one of the most extravagant styles of the evening.

Fluff Daddy

That's not a capelet you see. It's actual fur; styled to look like an out-of-this-world shawl!

Her Majesty

The most feminine style of the evening was worn by this dog, whose fur was dyed pink and spiral curled. In addition to the feminine fur, the dog was wearing pearls and a tiara.
