I was one of the unfortunate ones who wasn't able to see the 'High School Musical' concert. Luckily for me, it's now available on DVD in 'High School Musical the Concert: Extreme Access Pass.' It features the full concert, plus behind the scenes and some very cool extras, including a locker poster for 'High School Musical 2'! The concert features all the songs that you love from the movie, plus Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu's own solo tunes. One of my favorite numbers is 'Stick to the Status Quo,' which shows part of the movie on the jumbo screen. Another favorite is Get'cha Head in the Game' which features the choreography with the basketballs. That scene amazed me in the movie and to see that they did it live every night just blows me away.
If you've seen the concert and looking for something more, you'll definitely love the extras. It features performances by Jordan Pruitt, the opening act for the tour. There's also an awesome behind-the-scenes tour with star Lucas Grabeel. You even get to see their tour bus! Plus, you can become the director of the concert DVD with the "U Direct" extra! My only complaint about this -- you'll need a big screen TV to get the full effect. If you're a 'HSM' fan, you'll definitely want to add this DVD to your collection.
