Cream Cheese Penguins

Hungry after all that dancing? No worries, Steph the Chef is going to show you how to make a yummy snack. Below is the recipe we will be making together so be sure to have mom or dad pick up the ingredients ahead of time. Also, make sure you get mom or dad's permission and help when doing this cooking project.
- Cut a slit from top to bottom, lengthwise, into the side of each jumbo olive.
- Carefully insert about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese into each olive.
- Slice the carrot into 18 one-fourth inch thick rounds. Cut a small notch out of each carrot to form feet. Save the cut out piece.
- Take the cut out piece and press into the center of the small black olive to form a beak. If necessary, cut a small slit into each olive before inserting the beak.
- Set one of the large cream cheese filled olives, large hole side down, onto a carrot slice.
- Then set a small olive onto the large olive, adjusting so the beak, cream cheese chest and notch in the carrot slice all line up.
- Secure with a toothpick.

18 Small Black Olives
