The Knight Bus Tour

Take a look at pictures of the Knight Bus and Harry Potter fanatics.

Knight Bus

To celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 21, the Knight Bus is touring 37 libraries. Fans get the opportunity to create their own 20-second video of their thoughts about the series, which will appear on Scholastic's Web site.

Getting Ready

Knight Bus workers got the bus ready for 150 kids at Chantilly Regional Library who were busting at the seams to record their thoughts on Potter and tour the inside of the double decker bus.

Decked Out

Super fans were out in full force, with their "wands at the ready" and Harry Potter-inspired glasses.

The Covers

All seven book covers adorned the side of the bus. This fan must have been deciding which cover is her favorite.

The Deathly Hallows

On March 28, 2007 the cover art for the last book in the Harry Potter series was revealed. According to the designer of all seven covers, "Only when the book is opened does one see a powerful image of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, his glowing red eyes peering out from his hood."

Superfan

This Harry Potter superfan was prepared for magic with his broom, wand and Hedwig puppet.

Accio Firebolt!

These two fans showed off their awesome skills at magical spells. Don't worry, no dragons were harmed.

Holy Hat

This lady was wearing the biggest hat! It was so big, it probably could have fit half-giant Hagrid's head.

Twin Time

Fred and George Weasley aren't the only twins who love magic. We caught these twins right after their tour. The two had a blast!

This image of Harry, on the Knight Bus, is the same image used on the cover of the last book.

Inside the Bus

The countdown is on! As of June 20, only 30 days were left before the release of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.'

In Line

These fans were waiting to get into the recording booth to give their 20-second Harry Potter spiel. This fan shows off his homemade wand.

Little Actors

Some fans went individually, others went as a group, like these four fans, who wrote their own 20-second play.
