Dolphins
Dr. Kathleen Dudzinski is the Founder and Director of the Dolphin Communication Project.
Darcie Blanding is a graduate student in Animal Science at the University of Rhode Island. She has always loved animals and had many pets as a child. She loves the island of Bimini where she spends summers studying Atlantic spotted dolphins.
Kelly Melillo is graduate student at Alaska Pacific University. Science is everywhere in her work. She begins by observing the animals and then questions why they are doing what they do. She is very curious about marine mammals because they breathe air like us, yet they are perfectly as home in the sea!
Return to the Titanic
John Bunton is an engineer who designs video systems. John was the engineer in charge (EIC) for the Return to Titanic expedition.
Catalina Martinez is a physical scientist with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Dwight Coleman is a marine scientist at the University of Rhode Island. On this expedition, he was the chief of research.
Ancient Eruptions
Steve Carey is a professor at the University of Rhode Island. He is co-principal investigator on this expedition.
Dr. Robert Ballard is probably best known for his 1985 discovery and underwater research on the remains of the Titanic. He has Ph.D. in marine geology and geophysics from the University of Rhode Island. Watch a video about the expedition.
Haraldur Sigurdsson is a professor of Oceanography and Volcanology at the University of Rhode Island.
Katy Croff is a graduate student in archeological oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.
