Costa Rica
Blue Zones are areas of the world where people live longer. Why is Costa Rica a blue zone? We hope to find out whether the place itself has an impact on longevity. But what is Costa Rica like?
The country is located in Central America and is sandwiched between Nicaragua and Panama. Costa Rica has frequent rain which makes the land very fertile. The main agricultural products are coffee, pineapples and bananas.
This expedition will take us to an area of Costa Rica called Nicoya. Look at the map to find its location.
