Red Carpet Wrap Up: Teen Choice Awards 2009

Ashley was looking great at the TCAs. Her dress was very stylish. We really loved the color too. The mini-skirt length seems to be the hot look as most of the ladies were in short dresses rather than long. That also makes sense since it is a more laid back event. The one thing we could lose is the belt/tie around the waist.

Jonas Brothers
Nick, Joe and Kevin always look great on the red carpet (or in this case grass), but each one shows off their style which sometimes causes some conflict. Here Nick is sporting boots while Joe is in sneakers and a graphic tee. Kevin looks more formal. Guess it only makes sense for them to dress for their personalities.

Stacy Ann Ferguson aka Fergie
We loved, loved, loved Fergie's dress. The length and neckline were very flattering and not too revealing. The stripes with the colors and metallic gave it a more funky look. The little stripes of sheer also added to the overall style. Great choice!

Sean Kingston
Sean was sporting some bling (check out those rings and watch) at the TCAs. Since the awards tend to be laid back we can't totally fault him for the jeans. Overall a good look for him.

Britney Spears
Just like Fergie and Ashley Tisdale, Britney was sporting the mini-length dress. We liked the slight color speck in the black, but could take or leave the shoulder strap. Overall a nice simple look that was appropriate for the audience.

Cameron Diaz
Cameron's dress was very preppy. The gray pin-stripe fabric was classy and the unusual neckline made it stand out. One thing we didn't get were the blue shoes but we still liked the overall look.

Taylor Lautner
Taylor did an interesting blend of formal/informal for his outfit selection. The top half is nice with the white shirt and tie with the blue vest. He paired it with the jeans which dressed it down for the event. We are still trying to figure out what he black thing is- maybe a thick belt?

Emma Roberts
Again, here is another example of the mini-length dress. We don't love the white on Emma since her skin is pale. But the part that bothered us the most is the long black necklaces on top of the black design around the neckline and front of the dress. It is overkill and takes away from the dress itself.

Keke Palmer
What was up with the palm leaves on the shoulders? We just don't get it. They sort of looked glued to Keke's shoulders. They definitely make a statement but just seem odd. If you loose those then her outfit looks like Sandy at the end of 'Grease.'
