Hair Honor Roll: Teen Choice Awards 2009

    Corbin Bleu
    Grade: A+
Two big thumbs up for Corbin. Not sure what products he used or who cut his hair, but it looked terrific. Very tame and sophisticated - good job Corbin!

    Ellen Degeneres
    Grade: B-
We love Ellen and love the fact that she took home a surfboard for Best Twit. Her hair seemed shorter than normal but the spiked sort of look was great for the event. We feel it could have been taken to the next level with some gel since it was sort of unevenly done.

    Frankie Jonas aka Bonus Jonas
    Grade: B
Frankie was lookin' good on the red carpet and we thought his hair was styled nicely and very age-appropriate. It is a little long for our taste, but again, works with his age. You can tell that he is going to be a heart breaker like his bros.

    Hayden Panettiere
    Grade: C+
Our issue with Hayden is two things. First, her make up is almost too much on the eyes. Her eyebrows look completely fake and her eyeshadow is WAY dark and thick. She could have lightened up on those. The hair isn't terrible but almost looks like she didn't wash it and just stuck it up. We have seen her look much better.

    Hugh Jackman
    Grade: A
Does Hugh ever look bad? His hair is nicely styled and his cut let's you really focus on his face. The scruffy look works though we do prefer clean-shaven.

    Kristen Stewart
    Grade: C-
Oh Kristen! The only reason we are cutting her any slack is that we know she is still growing her hair out from her Joan Jett movie role. The color is too dark for her skin and the style is just not flattering.

    Robert Pattinson
    Grade: D+
We know Twilight fans are going to freak, but we just don't get this look. Robert's hair color isn't bad but the funky waves and style just doesn't cut it with us. Also, his unshaven look needs to go.

    Selena Gomez
    Grade: A-
As usual, Selena looked fab on the red carpet. Her hair was in a great updo that nicely complimented her dress and jewelry. Way to go Selena.

    Vanessa Hudgens
    Grade: B+
Overall we like Vanessa's look. Her makeup is a little heavy but it works better than Hayden since her skin is naturally a bit darker. Her hair is nice and we like the natural-looking highlight. We just think it is a bit long and starting to look stringy. If she cut it a few inches it could make all the difference.

    Zac Efron
    Grade: C+
Zac keeps trying different looks. This hair color is better for us than the dark black he had around the time of 'Hairspray.' What we did like about his old look was the length. Here the top seems to be good but the sides are really short and throws off the balance of the look.
