A Classic Cowboy

Kenny Chesney went with the classic look for this awards show and it works. The nice black button-down shirt with the gray dress slacks are basics every guy should have and fit him nicely. The large black cowboy hat finishes off the outfit perfectly.

Little Black Dress

Also in black was former 'Idol' contestant Kellie Pickler. While the dress is cute, it seems a bit sheer in the wrong places. We do like the layered skirt and spaghetti straps, it's just the material that we have some issues with.

Beaded Bliss

Taylor Swift looked great in her elegant floor length gown. Most of the beauty of the dress was the top. The criss-crossed pattern with the beaded flower design was very pretty. The rest of the dress was a straight white flowing fabric that looked good on her tall, skinny figure.

Little Miss Sunshine?

So we really didn't get Jewel's dress at all. While the color is nice and bright, the structure of it left us scratching our heads. The white fabric at the top was sort of sheer but not quite sure what it's purpose was. The yellow part had a square neckline with a belt and some sort of small train. She would have been better off had it been strapless. The dress also didn't seem to be the most flattering. We have seen Jewel look better.

Purple Train

LeAnn Rimes looked great in a long purple dress with a black design along the waistline. The V-neckline looked good on her. What was very interesting about the dress was bottom. One section stopped at a ruffle and then the other seemed to flow out of it into a long train. Overall, a nice fashion statement.

Silver Mama

Nicole Kidman looked glowing in this silver dress. It was a shorter dress which made it seem a bit playful.We liked the two pieces of fabric that went from the neckline and then hung down in the center to help cover her pregnant belly.

In the Back

Julianne Hough had a great dress both back and front. The back had a nice open design which was different and showed some skin. The front had this square neckline which had two sets of double straps coming off the neckline at an angle. A perfect dress to go with her hair.
