Christina Aguilera

Is it just us or does it seem like Christina is going for the Elvira look? Her dress has this strange pattern to it that makes it almost look like a web. And if you saw her makeup, she had her eyes outlined in dark black with thick black mascara. Definitely sort of vampire-like. Overall we like the shape of the dress but it was very low cut.

We feel like Chris Brown always has that same look going on- jeans, a button down shirt, a jacket and tie. Oh, and don't forget the sneakers. It's like he is trying to get dressed up but he put on the wrong pants and shoes and forgot to tuck in his shirt. Don't get us wrong, Chris Brown is still a cutie, but needs to come up with something more original.

The Jonas Brothers

Nick, Kevin and Joe looked good at the VMAs, and even better during their performance. All three Jonas Bros were sporting different suits and overall we think Nick looked the best. One thing we still don't get is why do they not coordinate their looks a bit more. Nick and Kevin look somewhat together but Joe is in this crazy white and navy silk-looking suit. Where's the brotherly unity?

Katy Perry

What in the world was Katy Perry thinking when she put on this outfit? We know the show was filmed in CA, but come on, summer is over. This outfit, if you can call it that, looks like something you would hit the beach in, not an awards show. Are the bottoms underwear with a design on it? Do they even go with the top? It's also very low cut. We know she paid tribute to Madonna, but did she have to carry the look onto the red carpet?

Miley Cyrus

Miley was lookin' good at the VMAs. Her dress is a great color and the design on it is fabulous. The beading gives it a nice texture. The dress is just the right length and still shows off her long, skinny legs. The neckline and little sleeves also work and are very age appropriate for her.

Kid Rock

Does Kid Rock every get dressed up? Is it us or does he always wear a black or white tank top? It looks like he is wearing either jeans or an athletic pant with a stripe down the side. And then, totally randomly, he's got on a hat and what looks to be brown leather, maybe even snaked-skinned, boots or dress shoes. He could definitely use a makeover.

Paris Hilton

We really liked Paris' dress. The color is really pretty and great as we move into Fall. The black belt and lining that stuck out were nice accents. Her shoes and bag brought the whole look together. The neckline as a little low but not bad compared to some of the others. Plus, the necklace drew your eye.

Zac Efron

Zac Efron always looks good at awards shows and dresses appropriately for the occasion. Way to go Zac! He is looking very handsome in his suit and dress shoes. The tie nicely breaks up all the solids and brings the look together. Very classy.
