Stages of Stardom: Malia and Sasha Obama

It has been a while since we have had such young kids in The White House. Now Sasha (7) and Malia (10) will be watched by the world as they spend the next four years living in Washington, DC as the First Kids. We decided to take a look back at their style and how they have changed since their dad first started his political career.

Here Sasha is three and Malia is six as they celebrate their dad's birthday in August 2004. He was running for the U.S. Senate at the time.

A few days later they took the stage again as their dad formally accepted his nomination as the first African-American from a major party to run for the White House.
