Hair Honor Roll: Grammys 2009

Carrie Underwood
Grade: B+
Overall we thought Carrie had a nice look. Her updo was a good choice because it showed off her great jewelry and the dress. We have seen her hair color look more vibrant and a few hairs could have been tucked into place better, but we liked it. Her makeup was also very well done as it didn't look too heavy.

Kimberly Caldwell
Grade: C+-
There is something about Kimberly's hair that just doesn't seem right to us. Not sure if it is the bob with the crazy different layer lengths, or the almost square look it has to it. However, we do like the color.

Flo Rida
Grade: A
Two thumbs up for Flo Rida. He looked very put together. His hair was simple and came across as very neat. What we liked even more was his facial hair. As strange as it sounds, it was very appealing and unique. The squared off shape and thin mustache worked well.

Cyndi Lauper
Grade: F
Cyndi, we know girls just wanna have fun, but what's up with this? Doesn't she look like she has a cotton ball on her head? And the stringy, crimped looking strands that hang down do nothing for the look. They make it look even worse. Ugh, what a mess.

Fantasia Barrino
Grade: A
We thought Fantasia's hair looked great. It's nice to see her in a longer style than she usually wears. We also really likes the sweep to one side. It complimented her face nicely. Her makeup was also nice and her lips can give Angelina a run for her money.

Jennifer Hudson
Grade : B
It was nice to see Jennifer make another public appearance after the Super Bowl. She has been through a lot but was still looking glamorous on the red carpet. Her hair was nice and simple pulled back in a pony tail. It looked very neat.

The Jonas Brothers
Grade: A-
The Jo Bros were lookin' good on the red carpet. We thought they all looked great and they actually coordinated very well. Everyone's hair looks styled and their typical looks. Nick's looks little shorter than usual but let's be honest, can he ever look bad? We think not.

LeAnn Rimes
Grade:C-
Our issue with LeAnn is that her hair doesn't really look styled. It looks like she just towel dried it or did a quick run with the dryer. It's a little stringy and has two tones going on.

Leona Lewis
Grade: A
Unlike LeAnn, Leona's hair looked styled. The color is nice although she does have a little of the dark thing going on at the bottoms. It looks soft and the curls give it a more finished look. It frames her face nicely.

(L-R) Musicians Caleb, Nathan, Matthew, and Jared Followill make up the Kings Of Leon. They each have their own style and overall we thought their hair was OK. None of the looks stood out and all could probably use a little sprucing up.
