Red Carpet Wrap Up: Golden Globes 2009
America Ferrera
We really liked this dress. It's a nice color and also youthful looking to suit America. The one shoulder look has been very popular at recent awards shows. The bottom of the dress is interesting with the bubble skirt. America did us proud.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
The hottest couple in Hollywood was looking very stylish at the Golden Globes. Brad Pitt looked good in a classic tux and Angelina's dress was formal and flowing. It also looked very comfy. How did she get so thin after having twins?!

Blake Lively
We are so-so about Blake's dress. The color is pretty but the neckline seems a little low and overall the dress seems tight on her. The train also feels out of place.

Vanessa Hudgens
We thought Vanessa looked great and wore a very flattering dress. The shape is perfect for her and the sheer material at the bottom gave it an interesting look. Our only issue is that the color is almost the same as her skin. It doesn't make her pop as much as she would have with a little color.

PDiddyTalking about a snazzy guy, PDiddy was lookin' good on the red carpet. He had a nice classy tux with a silk lapel and stripe down the leg of his pants. It looked great and was very appropriate for the show.

Hayden Panettiere
This shade of purple worked well for Hayden and the dress itself is very pretty. The top is interesting with the straight across strapless look accented by a nice design. The bottom part is flowing and made her look taller than she is.

Jennifer Lopez
This dress didn't surprise us. It reminds us of many other dresses Jennifer has worn include the famous one that Matt Lauer wore when he was her for Halloween. The gold material was bold and made a statement. It was low cut in the back and front and definitely showed some skin.

Ryan Seacrest
Ryan always looks good in our opinion. His stylist should get a raise. We love the thin back tie and classic suit. It was stylish yet allowed him to make his way around the red carpet and interview the stars!

Maggie Gyllenhaal
On a good note, the one shoulder look is in. On a bad note, what the heck is up with the print? The leopard-like print made her look like she should be in the jungle. And the puffy shoulder also didn't work for us. Overall it just didn't seem right for the Globes.

Miley Cyrus
Big thumbs up for Miley on this selection. It was very flattering and youthful. While we don't love the gold trees, we do like the split in the front with the other material peeking out. It gave the dress a more formal feel. Here the train worked for us.
