Hair Honor Roll: Golden Globes 2009

Grade: B-

Did Ashton just towel dry his hair after getting out of the shower? Hello, it's the Golden Globes?! Couldn't he at least put some moose in it so it seemed styled.

Beyonce
Grade: C+

While we really liked the style of her hair, the thing that made us shutter about Beyonce's do was the multicolor look. Most of her hair looked light brown and then came this blonde ponytail hanging down in the back. It made you think she took fake hair and added it on.

Leonardo DiCaprio
Grade: A-

Overall we liked Leo's look. He actually bothered to style his hair which gave him a more formal look. The one thing that seemed a little off was the the wave of his slicked back bangs. Sort of reminded us of the Little Rascals.

Cameron Diaz
Grade: B+

Cameron's hair look very neat and natural. It looked very smooth and had nice soft curls at the bottom. Our one issue is the color- on the top it looks dirty blonde almost light brown while from her ear down it looks blonde.

Johnny Depp
Grade C-

Johnny cut his hair so it is shorter but someone forgot to actually give it some style. The long pieces on the sides kept coming into his face and hanging down. It looked very messy on TV.

Drew Barrymore
Grade: D-

Did you look in the mirror, Drew? What happened to your hair? Did you put your finger in an electric socket? WAY too big and messy. Had she done the same sort of style but taken it down a few levels and made it smooth on top it might have actually worked.

Rene Zellweger
Grade: C

Renee and Drew must have chatted because this is another messy and puffy hairdo. The color of her hair is nice and even but the overall style makes it look like she just piled curls on top of her head.

The Jonas Brothers
Grade: A

On the hair front, we have to give two thumbs up to Nick, Kevin and Joe. All three of them have great styled hair that nicely compliments their faces and is appropriate for the awards show.

Rumor Willis
Grade: B

The most interesting thing about Rumor's hair is the color. We are so used to seeing her dark hair that the red threw us off. It's a little too red for us and makes the color look fake (from a bottle) rather than a more natural look. We also felt she could have used some bangs to help soften her face.

Zac Efron
Grade: B+

OK, let's be honest, can Zac ever NOT look cute? Overall his hair looked nice. Maybe a little less moose would have worked but we would rather have styled than messy. Here he has one hair hanging down but we will forgive that. It's really the long sideburns and scruffy face that made take the grade down a little.
