Aug 31, 2008 - The Rangers placed Padilla on the 15-day disabled list Saturday - retroactive to Aug. 23 - because of a strained left hamstring.
Aug 30, 2008 - General manager Jon Daniels said he expects to put Padilla on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday. Padilla, in the second year of a three-year, $33.75 million contract, hasn't pitched since last Friday because of inflammation in a muscle joint between his right shoulder and neck.
Aug 27, 2008 - Padilla will miss his scheduled start Friday against the Los Angeles Angels with inflammation in the muscle joint between the neck and shoulder.
Aug 20, 2008 - Padilla returned to the Rangers' rotation on Tuesday, allowing five runs and eight hits, including three homers, in six innings of an 11-3 loss to Detroit.
