Jun 12, 2008 - The Cardinals activated Pineiro on Thursday in time for him to start against the Reds, placing Albert Pujols on the 15-day disabled list.
May 28, 2008 - Pineiro was put on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday because of a strained right groin after the team determined he wouldn't be ready to make his next start.
