Jun 02, 2009 - Soria threw off the bullpen mound in a pregame workout that served as the latest test in his recovery from a strained right rotator cuff, the Kansas City Star reported. The Royals still plan to send him out on a minor-league rehab assignment before returning him to active duty. The Star reported that Soria is not expected to return until early June.
May 03, 2009 - Soria returned to his All-Star closing form for the Kansas City Royals, getting the last five outs of a 10-7 victory in 11 innings over the Minnesota Twins on Saturday night.
