Sep 27, 2008 - Bedard underwent surgery on his left shoulder Friday.
Sep 17, 2008 - Bedard, out since July with a tight left shoulder, has decided to undergo surgery Friday. The Mariners issued a statement Tuesday saying exploratory arthroscopic surgery will be performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum, who is expected to remove any unhealthy tissue of foreign material from the labrum in the shoulder.
Aug 20, 2008 - Mariners pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre said he doubts Bedard will throw off a bullpen mound Saturday, as has been the plan announced earlier in the week, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
Aug 08, 2008 - Bedard played catch again Thursday, making 50 throws and feeling comfortable, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.
