Mar 08, 2009 - The Milwaukee Brewers have released Gagne so he can rehab his sore shoulder in Tempe, Ariz., at a private facility. Gagne was in the Brewers camp as a non-roster invitee on a minor league contract.
Feb 17, 2009 - Gagne and the Brewers agreed to a minor league contract Tuesday with an invitation to the major league camp. He had a $10 million, one-year deal last season with Milwaukee, but would up on the disabled list after blowing six saves as the team's closer. When the 2003 National League Cy Young Award winner returned, he was moved to set up Salomon Torres.
Jun 30, 2008 - The Brewers activated closer Eric Gagne from the 15-day disabled list on Monday and optioned righty Mark DiFelice to Triple-A Nashville.
