Guardado missed three weeks with that injury.

Jul 01, 2008 - Guardado had to leave Monday's 2-1 victory against the Yankees in the eighth inning because of inflammation in his left shoulder. Guardado never threw a pitch in the game. Instead, the shoulder started bothering him while he was warming up on the mound, and he decided not to push it. It's the same problem that put him on the disabled list in April, but the Rangers' initial feeling is it's not as serious.
