Jul 12, 2008 - In his return to the majors, a jittery Buchholz struggled early against the Baltimore Orioles, taking the loss after allowing four runs, five hits and five walks in five innings of Boston's 7-3 defeat. Buchholz had pitched a no-hitting in his second major league start against Baltimore last September.
Jul 07, 2008 - Boston manager Terry Francona said the Red Sox are preparing to recall Buchholz, who was sent to the minors to work on his fastball command after spending the last two weeks of May on the disabled list.
May 28, 2008 - With Bartolo Colon pitching well the Red Sox won't rush Buchholz back to the rotation and manager Terry Francona has said that he's not an option in the bullpen, so he could stay in the minors for a while, according to the Boston Globe. Buchholz is scheduled to make his next minor league start Friday for Triple-A Pawtucket.
May 14, 2008 - The Red Sox placed Buchholz on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday due to a broken nail on his right middle finger.
