Aug 14, 2008 - The San Diego Padres placed right-hander Chris Young on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained right forearm. Right-hander Brian Falkenborg, claimed off outright waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, will take Young's roster spot.
