Destiny's Child has Grown Up

Michelle was one of the three wonder girls of the R&B sensation Destiny's Child. She was actually the first member to go solo before Beyonce when she came out with a gospel album in 2002. Michelle is from Illinois where she sang in her church choir. She later sang with the gospel group United Harmony and Chosen Expression. When she was in college, she became a back-up singer for Monica. It was in 2000 that she joined Destiny's Child. Now, she's branching out again to do her own songs.
