Elliott Yamin
A Vocal Masterclass
Elliott Yamin was born on July 20, 1978. He has 90% hearing loss in his right ear as well as diabetes. Elliott discovered his singing talent while doing karaoke when he was a teen. He auditioned for 'American Idol' in Boston and easily made it to Hollywood. He quickly became one of the standouts and went on to make the top three with Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee. While he didn't win, he did go on to release a CD in 2007. The album did well both in the U.S. and abroad. He also released two holiday albums. In May 2009 he will release his second CD called 'Fight For Love.' Elliott currently lives in LA with his girlfriend.
