Rihanna's music has a Reggaton/R&B/Dancehall vibe. She is from Barbados and was living there when a music producer visited the island. After hearing her voice, he knew she would be a star. He took her to the Big Apple where they met with Jay-Z who signed her to Def Jam. She has since released three albums and has had many #1 singles. Some of her musical influences are Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey. 'I want to give people a taste of the Caribbean, and show them the fun side of me,' said Rihanna.
