Smiley Miley

Miley Cyrus is the talent behind the blond wig of Hannah Montana. As the daughter of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, it seemed only natural she would follow in his musical shoes. Destiny Hope Cyrus was a happy child from Franklin, Tennessee who got the nickname 'smiley.' It was shortened to Miley soon after. Miley took an interest in music and songwriting at an early age. She started out doing some small roles for TV and movies before being cast as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel. Now she is pursuing a musical career and touring across America. Miley has even performed alongside the Jonas Brothers. She's expected to star in the Hannah Montana movie due out in 2009.
