Madonna is one of the biggest music artists of all time. She has sold more records than most female recording artists and is known all over the world. Madonna's real name is Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie and was born and raised in Michigan. Her first album came out back in 1982. Since then she's had 11 studio albums and 2 live recordings, not to mention all the songs she's included in movie soundtracks and compilations. Madonna also is known as an award-winning actress. Recently, she was honored in the rock-n-roll hall of fame.
