David was the youngest Idol on American Idol at only 17 years old. He comes from Murray, Utah and has been singing since he was a child. By high school, David was singing on a professional level. When American Idol rolled into San Diego, David jumped at the chance to show his stuff. David did such a good job, that he made it to the finals and was the runner-up behind David Cook. But everyone knows that's not enough to think David won't go on with his career. 'Crush' is his first single, and more to come.
