Darius Rucker
Hootie Minus the Blowfish
Darius Rucker was born on May 13, 1966 in South Carolina. He became a member of the band Hootie and the Blowfish in 1986. He and the band had a successful career with some top hits. In 2002 he released his first solo album called Back to Then. In 2008 he released a country album called Learn to Live. His first single off of it 'Don't Think I Don't Think About It' became the first number one hit by a solo African American. His second single off the album is 'It Won't Be Like This For Long.'
