Bye, Bye Brooke

On Wednesday, April, 30, Brooke was voted off Season 7 of American Idol. She was in tears when she hugged Ryan Seacrest. The former nanny did the song 'I'm a Believer' from Neil Diamond, but judge Randy said it was too 'karaoke' and judge Paula went as far as calling it a 'nightmare.' The good news is that, due to her new-found fame, her first CD is surfacing on the internet.

Brooke, 24, comes from Mesa, Arizona where she began singing as a teenager. Her major influences are singer/songrwriters like Carly Simon and James Taylor. She also plays the piano and guitar, and has 4-years experience as a solo artist with a backup band. When American Idol came through Philadelphia, she auditioned for the three famous Idol judges and was sent to Hollywood.
