You probably remember Allison Iraheta from this past season of 'American Idol.' She was the only girl in the top five finalists and was among the youngest to make it that far (she turned 17 turned the Top Five week). Early in the competition the judges said that she would be one to watch out for. Allison was born and raised in California. Her parents are from El Salvador. She has been singing from an early age and in 2006 she won the singing competition 'Quinceañera: Mamá Quiero Ser Artista.' After her time on 'Idol' Allison made the rounds to some of the talk shows and went on the 'American Idols LIVE! Tour 2009.' Now she is working on her debut album with Jive Records that is due out at the end of the year.
