Usher Raymond IV was born in Dallas, Texas and started singing as a child at his church choir. When he was 13, he appeared on Star Search. Usher is a huge music star, known for his diverse mix of romantic ballads. He has won five Grammys and sold over thirty-five million CDs worldwide. His latest album 'Confessions' sold 1.2 million copies in the first week. This set a new record for R&B artists! Usher is currently working on his latest CD that will come out in the summer of 2008.
