KOLSteph: Hi Emma, welcome to KOL.com. Thanks for taking the time to talk with us.
EmmaRNancyDrew: no problem...thank you!
KOLSteph: So Nancy Drew was released on DVD this week, what was it like becoming one of the most famous mystery solvers?
EmmaRNancyDrew: It was so much fun to play such an iconic character! I love everything about her. Especially her clothesKOLSteph: Yes, we understand from the special edition version that you had 27 outfits
KOLSteph: which was your favorite?
EmmaRNancyDrew: Yes! So many outfit changes! My favorite was probably the pink tweed dress i wear on the first day of school.
KOLSteph: did you get to help pick her clothes?
EmmaRNancyDrew: I did not. I thought it was really cool though how every outfit was totally original and one of a kind just for Nancy.
KOLSteph: People who I have talked to about the movie all comment on her outfits
EmmaRNancyDrew: Yeah everyone seems to really like them
KOLSteph: did you get to keep any of them?
EmmaRNancyDrew: No i did not. I dont think i would wear them in my daily life but it was fun to get to play dress up everyday at work!
KOLSteph: LOL
KOLSteph: besides the clothes, what did you like best about making this movie?
EmmaRNancyDrew: I was happy we got to shoot it in LA because thats where i live. I also loved the cast! Everyone had so much fun together!
KOLSteph: it seemed like the cast had good chemistry
EmmaRNancyDrew: yeah we all got along really well and i still keep in touch with some of them
KOLSteph: what scene was your favorite?
EmmaRNancyDrew: the kiss scene of course
KOLSteph: LOL
EmmaRNancyDrew: haha just kidding
EmmaRNancyDrew: i had fun shooting most of the movie...i really liked the scene where i got to pretend to drive the blue roadster
KOLSteph: it said in the special edition that you did some of the stunts- was that hard?
EmmaRNancyDrew: not really because any of the really intense one my stunt double did
KOLSteph: did you do the one with the explosion where you had to jump out of the way?
EmmaRNancyDrew: Yes i did! They made it look way more scary and intense than it actually was though
KOLSteph: it did look intense so they did a good job!
EmmaRNancyDrew: yeah they did. it was so embarrassing to watch though because of the slow motion!
KOLSteph: why?KOLSteph: it looked coolEmmaRNancyDrew: well thank you
KOLSteph: were you a fan of Nancy Drew before doing the movie?
EmmaRNancyDrew: i was a fan of the character but i hadn't read the books before i got the partEmmaRNancyDrew: after i got the part i read a few of them but not all because there are so many!KOLSteph: would you want to do a sequel?
EmmaRNancyDrew: i would totally love to go back and play nancy again solving another mysteryKOLSteph: so give us the scoop- after the kiss do Nancy and Ned get serious?
EmmaRNancyDrew: Actually Nancy leaves Ned for Orlando Bloom
EmmaRNancyDrew: its tragic
KOLSteph: LOL
EmmaRNancyDrew: haha
EmmaRNancyDrew: No i think nancy and ned have to end up together...they're too cute!
KOLSteph: I agree- such a good couple- he is so sweet to her
KOLSteph: Congrats on your Nick Kids' Choice Award nomination... will you be walking the orange carpet this year?
EmmaRNancyDrew: Sadly no
EmmaRNancyDrew: i'm gonna be in new jersey filming during that time
EmmaRNancyDrew: :-(KOLSteph: oh no- I think the fans will miss you.
EmmaRNancyDrew: its one of my favorite events of the year!KOLSteph: I know you are done with making Unfabulous episodes but do you ever think there will be more or a special?EmmaRNancyDrew: No we are done. There was a special finale that was a two part episode called The Best Trip Ever.
KOLSteph: what was your favorite Unfabulous episode to do?
EmmaRNancyDrew: Probably the two part episode i just mentioned
KOLSteph: why?
EmmaRNancyDrew: because we got to dress up as sailors in one scene which was so cool!
EmmaRNancyDrew: and we got to do a lot of night shoots and i love shooting at night because you get to come in late to work
KOLSteph: lol- are you more of a night owl rather than an early riser?
EmmaRNancyDrew: i am the absolute worst morning person ever...i am most definetly a night owl
