Hit the Floor

Each season twelve stars from movies, TV, modeling, stage and sports are chosen to compete for master of the dance floor. Each is paired with a professional dancer and put through weeks of vigorous training (some call it torture). They learn different types of dance like the Tango, Quick Step, Jive, Waltz, etc. After each performance the judges- Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno- give their scores. That combined with the fans calling in, determines who stays and who goes home. At the end of the competition there is just one couple left standing on the dance floor. Past winners include Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith and Apolo Anton Ohno.

Season 7 starts on Sept 22 at 8PM ET and goes for three nights
